I'm in south Florida. I can get to both sides easily.

Never said the he had to sell. All I am saying is that it is best to keep your home in good shape in the event that you either choose to or if something came up to where you had to sell you would be ahead of the game. Yes, you will have to paint and do some other light work but if you keep up on the major things along the way you are that much more ahead of the game.

I have replaced all of the interior doors and windows, the sliding glass door to the deck, expanded and stained the deck, replaced the front entry door, remodeled the kitchen and installed ceramic tile and carpet throughout. The upstairs and downstairs are 100% ready to go. I just have to get off my butt. and paint the main level. Painting is best done (or done best) when you are in the mood to do it and I simply am not in the mood to paint and I know it will come out poorly if I am forced to do it.

My house could be nicer but I chose to give my kids a jumpstart in life.

I've heard of it....never been there. I've lived in Tallahassee, Miami, and Homestead. We used to go down to Long Key to fish on the weekends sometimes.

If you ever get a chance go. It was voted best beach in the world recently.

It is very beautiful and secluded. We've stayed there a few times.

For fishing near me? Usually out east to either the Moriches Inlet or East hampton's Three Mile Harbor.

There's a place in Florida called Sanabel island.

Most amazing beach in the state. Good fishing too.

Probably my favorite vacation spot as a kid. What a place

That's my philosophy too.
A house is just a place to stay ... a home is a place to live.
Family and friends mean much more to me than a show house.
Luckily, my wife feels that way too.
We fix up the house as needed or if we desire it for our current needs and wants.
It use to be a house was an investment but now it is more a lifestyle choice.
