I usually use some sand for the driveway.

I will use sand on my front steps but the sidewalk and driveway would take too much. I don't use anything on my driveway but will use litter on part of the sidewalk.

Squirrels messed with my tomatoes. Didn't eat them, just knocked the fruit off the plants.

I can't grow some plants because critters will get into it. Raccoons love it when I try to grow cantaloupes.

I don't get groundhogs in my yard but do get rabbits. They mostly just eat grass and weeds so I don't mind them. Opossums and raccoons can be a problem though.

Brussels are easy to grow.

Once I used a live trap to get rid of raccoons. I caught one and tried to be quiet about killing it so shot it in the head with a pellet rifle. It just said Ow! and gave me a dirty look. I said screw it and shot it with a .38 instead.
