You left out two very important things about that incident.... It was the first murder in the history of the Metro and the guy was caught quickly after. Random crime is not as common as you might think in DC. Most of it is gang and/or drug related.

I don't know anything about the history of the metro but as far as him being caught immediately I would sure as hell hope so.


For every square foot of DC there are 14 law enforcement agencies that can and do claim jurisdiction.
