It IS worth it. Even my daughter notices how bad she feels after eating crappy food, and doesn't like it. She used to complain that our house was the "milk and water house" because all her friends have soda and juices at their houses. Now she's noticing how unhealthy the food is at their houses in comparison to what I buy.

Yep. I've brainwashed mine with that too. Lol. Don't grab a bag of chips and eat out of the bag. Put some in a small bowl and when empty, you're done.

It can be. For me its more a problem of wastage. I buy fresh ingredients and can't use them up before they spoil.

I definitely did change my eating habits after I retired though. I have more time to cook but what really prompted me was I needed to change what I ate after becoming less active.

The less active part is what is getting me. Do not burn nearly as many calories as before

Too much "organic" is just a marketing scam. Often no better but still more expensive.

If it has a thick peel, calling it organic is a lie. There is no such thing as organic bananas, oranges, grapefruits, etc. They're all organic.
