I took someone online classes when I was in school for convenience. It was great for some, terrible for others. Like computer crap, perfect for it. Math or languages, not good.

I actually saved money when I went to college. I worked nights at UPS (back when part timers made more) and had to go to school full time during the day to keep a partial scholarship ($500 per year). Tuition was less than $400 per quarter though.

That's close to the top out for a FT sup. I negotiated more than they offered me, but I couldn't get 90K. I'm actually making more than the last guy who went into FT supervision in our center.

I'm making a long term play here. Not to mention I'm making about 60,000 more a year than I would have had I gone the aviation route.

Most that choose management are stuck in a dead end job with no options
