Deranged lunatic
I'd rather find solutions for overweights since all the odd unwanted volume is actually a pretty good buffer between us and competing services. Let amazon pretend to deliver a bunch of baggies while we still get all the big ticket items.

Can we just tell Amazon to go pound sand? I’m tired of delivering their dog food and toilet paper boxes.

"Big ticket items" don't have much profit, we only do it to keep some larger accounts

The best way would be to ship them separately with a palletized delivery service, we could call it UPS Fr.....oh right we sold that off

Raise price on irregulars and start a different group doing deliveries for that. Why can't we have irregular package group with different pay? They may have to do furniture deliveries because we do not have irregulars all the time.

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.

I always said they should have 2 man delivery teams for the heavy stuff.

Those old Overnite drivers and dock workers hated working for UPS.

The company thought their type of delivery service, would translate into the freight industry.

As they found out.... it didn't.

I wasn’t there .. but, I believe that was the Union’s original proposal .. somehow it got morphed into the 22.4’s.

The (two men and a truck concept) would of been a great solution...8 out every 10 damages are over 70’s or irregularities. They do charge a (Large Package) rate close to 100 dollars and a 25 dollar surcharge on over 50 pounds currently.

Stick 2 men on a truck and what do you think is the first thing the company wants

Raise the weight limit so as 2 men are now struggling getting package to door

Tell me I’am wrong

Anyone volunteering to work with @MECH-lift?

UPS can start a new group and invest in this tool.

This is the real secret, getting rid of irregs would probably fix the entire network in one stroke; it's the main reason sorts go down late, except air
Is irregs the problem or letting people go before they are moved the problem?
