Is irregs the problem or letting people go before they are moved the problem?
Packing a ton of dudes in an area doesn't speed things as quickly as you may think; most buildings do throw at least a quarter of their unload to cleaning up irregs anyways

22.4s will be gone or pvds will be gone i doubt both. We might actually get triple pay for every hour worked over 9.5 we will get another 4 to 5 an hour over the life of the contract. I don't think anything else will change. I think we will strike for maybe a week and the following Monday we will be back at worst because both sides know a week of sitting will likely cripple the network.
My prediction
I don't see any way you can sell the employees on 2% raises or worse when we've all lost 15% or more buying power over the last few years

Not sure if that even bothers them anymore. Had an old friend who was in feeders who just
recently retired. Worked labor day last year. Made $104 an hour for the day. Said they could care less.
a few people working a few days no they don't care.

But there is one easy way to cut OT cut 6 punches and no one ever talks about it.

All we need is language that ensures we are paid pension and healthcare money for every hour instead of only the first 8 and 5 days a week.

Yep more pension credit so I can leave earlier and I’m all over it

It's allows the company to pump volume how they wish and not actually hire for it. Less teamster jobs and less union dues. All while teamsters are over worked and harassed through out the year.
Yep Monday there will be almost no work they are forwarding all the residentials on Saturday. No need for all these routes and they know it.

Hell they still force 22.4s here on Monday and call FT drivers on the side to let them know they can stay home. It's out of control. Supplements better address this or were screwed because the NMA won't and with that being negotiated last most members will expect to see it in there not realizing its a supp issue. Another reason negotiating supps first is a bad idea!

I also inquired about negotiating, supplements first, as I do not understand how that would work. Should be negotiated out of the national first.

Everyone knows. They are just afraid to say it because they've seen the retaliation of not showing 100% support.
Well, that’s the way they used to work. Hopefully we have moved on from that. They would not listen to Sean at the last negotiations, when he stood up to make proposals
