Well is a shame that he gets paid to try to put words into someone's mouth and come up with a bogus story that my mom hit the truck and her Jeep Wrangler (in reverse) pushed the truck two feet. Total lie. And he tried to get my mother to say she was on her phone when her phone was in her purse. He then said two different things. His first claim was that the driver honked the horn then later he said that driver was backed in and in the back getting a package....it's just sad that people have no morals.

And he's one of the good ones

I've owned a Jeep. You could cause 500 bucks worth of damage leaning on it. They are no where near as tough as they would like you to believe.

It is terrible that corporations have no morals and expect their employees to act that way. Just tell your mother the next time UPS calls that she has turned it over to her insurance company and it is out of her hands. UPS will pay her claim as it sound like simple property damage.

I've owned a Jeep. You could cause 500 bucks worth of damage leaning on it. They are no where near as tough as they would like you to believe.

Someone backing up 2 feet isn't doing that damage.

Either mom was moving at a good clip or the driver was.

It doesn't really matter what YOU think. The driver will be held responsible for any money the company has to pay out.


Also who knows what the driver told the sup. If what you've said is true I can't believe the driver hasn't already been fired. He shouldn't of left the house until all of this was settled.

We're you there watching your mom to see if she was looking at her phone or not? These trucks have every single thing on them monitored all the time. Telematics report could see how fast he backed up, if he honked, when he stopped, took off seatbelt, opened bulkhead door to get package, etc.. So the sup may be telling the truth. Now I also wouldn't put it past a supervisor to lie either. What I find hard to believe is that a professional driver would back into a driveway where theres an occupied vehicle with brake and reverse lights on. Also, that your mom did not see and hear a big ugly ups truck backing into her driveway?.. just sayin

The UPS truck should not have been in her driveway unless he had a delivery that was too large to walk off.
