Rule one of any situation is to gain control .
This officer was attempting to just that .
But these kids are just plain dumb , when told to walk away they wouldn't and actually confronted the officer .
As for the Free pool party notice unless it was posted on the site and approved by the governing body for that area with the neighbors support , then the responding officers should have had to have knowledge about it . If they didn't then the social media posting was in fact worthless .

Social media is a wealth of misinformation. It sounds like someone found out about that party and posted to get a mob of friends to crash it. I read that has happened several times recently in that area. But that was just what someone said and an unconfirmed rumor at this point. As are many other comments being made.

the RULE of any situation is to NOT CREATE CHAOS.. screaming , shouting, display of force, batons out, chasing, cursing by the POLICE is what led to the chaotic scene the ensued.

Stop trying to JUSTIFY what happened, the MAYOR and CITY COUNCIL all agree, the police acted improperly and are asking for an investigation and ACTION to be taken against the police involved, NOT THE TEENS at the scene.

No charges will be filed against ANY TEEN.

You people are just too full of hate to recognize racism and racist behaviors.
