Police Brutality & Executions

Strength through joy
Dozens of activists are calling on a Dallas-based video broadcast station to fire a black talk show host for blaming a group of mostly black teenagers for starting a fracas at a private swimming pool in McKinney, Tex. on Friday.

Benet Embry, who hosts an internet show on Deep Ellum on Air and lives in the neighborhood, has been accused by some for being a traitor to his race after he posted to his Facebook account to push back against what he called a false media narrative that has been crafted in the wake of the incident.

From his facebook page ;
Oh, I say and I say it again, ya been had! Ya been took! Ya been hoodwinked! Bamboozled! Led astray! Run amok! MediaTakeout.com posts a story showing only 7 minutes of a 30 minute ordeal, makes it racial and all the activist come a running. Look, I LIVE in this community and this ENTIRE incident is NOT racial at all. A few THUGS spoiled a COMMUNITY event by fighting, jumping over fences into a PRIVATE pool, harassing and damaging property. Not EVERYTHING is about RACE. WE have other issuses [sic] that NEED our attention other flights of made up make believe causes.

“I’ve never seen such irresponsible reporting and miss management [sic] of media resources in my life,” Embry commented later.

I like the part where the cop, with his gun drawn, does a tuck-and-roll on the ground and jumps up, ready to beat some more pool-party :censored2:.

Hamming for the camera?

When I first saw that I thought it was a joke, then quickly realized this cop was off his rocker. I personally believe he needs a 72 hour psychiatric hold, before he kills someone.

....or maybe the cop should have waited until he was attacked by 3 or 4 deprived and so, so deserving black kids who had a bad childhood and deserve so much better.

No, seriously, there was no one around the cop, and he...

Dives to the ground, with his gun drawn, tucks and rolls, and jumps up like he's in an action movie.

On drugs maybe?

What part of the cops' barrel-roll on the ground do you feel was appropriate?

It's hard to hit a moving target.
But you are right.....he should have waited for some black kid to come up behind him and steal his gun.

Hopefully he wasn't trying to hit any target.

Totally irresponsible for the cop to draw his gun...as soon as he did, both him and his gun became a liability.

Seriously though, someone get this cop an agent...he belongs in the movies!

The way he was acting, someone should have put him on the ground and held him down like a toddler having a tantrum. They guy was out of control. Watch the video when he pulls the gun, the other officers are trying to calm him down so he doesn't shoot someone for no reason.

nothing quite so dramatic, he was tripped. you listen to the audio you hear them trying to clear a path as they chase someone. the cop then trips on something or someone. The camera was some kids cell phone.

Just as intoxicating.

I'm amused that a certain segment of BC posters will defend the 'cops'...

NO MATTER WHAT.

This cop was an idiot - again, as soon as he drew his gun, the gun became a liability.

He got put on administrative leave...he'll be lucky to keep his job.

No sir, watch the video again...the cop is clearly unencumbered as he practices his Steven Seagal moves.
