Having all those healthy 19 and 20 year olds that never use health insurance makes insurance affordable for all the broken down 20 year seniority package car drivers. Let alone all the heart attack poster child Feeder drivers.

At least not here they aren't available. We have a few garbage article 22.3 jobs. Whick I would never take .
My building has 2 good 22.3 jobs. Porter/PM Air driver. 1 employee went from PT to 22.3 so he kept his top rate for the Porter job. The other was a former package car driver so he took a huge cut in pay. They both make the same as an air driver unless they would do a ground pick up or delivery. All the rest are crap jobs that they can't hire enough PT at $10/hr to fill.
Not to mention all the cushy jobs that the union hands out to friends.....
How bout we cap the drivers at 38, heck they just deliver packages.

A union job with no insurance...sounds like sh$t to me. The quality of workers that would bring in. 15 an hour work like a slave with no bennies, way to look out for your teamster brother
Just as long as the current seniority drivers keep receiving their raises, you could cap it at $15/hr. I got mine.
The part timers want more money but they aren't willing to drive. What am I missing here?
That's exactly what the company wants.
So disposable the company is offering $100 to $200 a week bonus just to show up everyday on time. At a $200/wk bonus plus $10/hr the company is paying over $21/hr for 3 1/2 hours a day.
Whether it is part time or full time job, if the job is the same, the compensation per hour should be the same. IMO
All of our training routes are full. New drivers are failing as fast as they are being trained.
Old school thinking. I got mine, the hell with the new guys.
That's exactly what the Teamsters and drivers want.
