My 2020 refund that was filed April 2021 didn't come until March 2022 because they were backlogged.

I received my refunds within 3 weeks of filing each time.

Always less than a month if you file electronically. No more than twice as long if you use snail mail.

the good news is when the IRS gets done with you , you wont have a refund to wait on for a whole year.
