Re: Obamanation here today

Of course, what do you expect with an entire cabinet of lawyers? That's all they know how to do.

Obama Admin Notifies Navy SEAL They Are Considering Legal Action Over Bin Laden Book…

This navy seal should be prosecuted. He signed 2 confidentiality agreements with the goverment to NEVER release confidential information. Clearly, he broke those agreements and should face the full legal force of the law.

Hopefully, he ends up with the leavenworth 10.

Peace

Re: Obamanation here today

Sounds illegal to me....

Liberal academia strikes again.
Via Daily Caller:
A public university in Colorado may have violated state law by offering students course credit if they volunteered with President Obama’s re-election campaign. Ablog post on the Adams State University website billed the opportunity as a “12 week long organizing internship for the Obama Campaign.”

Both the blog post and the course are now gone. The course was canceled due to lack of interest, according to the university. The blog post was taken down earlier this week after a conservative student blog, Campus Reform, reported on it.

The course may have been in violation of the Colorado Fair Campaign Practices Act, which prohibits the use of public resources toward “campaigns involving the nomination, retention, or election of any person to any public office.” Oliver Darcy, the editor at Campus Reform who first reported the story, said the course struck him as a likely violation of state law.

“They are definitely using a few professors at least to help these students with the campaign process, so I don’t understand how it doesn’t use public resources for campaign purposes,” he said in an interview with The Daily Caller News Foundation.

If the Navy Seal has violated the law - and that is a big if, that is why investigations are held, then corrective action should be taken. No hypocrisy there.

HOWEVER, I find it interesting the hypocrisy of the poster in #2344. It is OK for the White House to leak confidential classified information which puts our Navy Seals in harms way but not OK for the Navy Seal (Mark Owen) to write a book. Investigations by Democratic and Republican committee members in both houses have confirmed the White House leaks.

I love how this poster KNOWS that the Navy Seal signed the documents. What the poster KNOWS is that MSNBC and the Huff Post said it. Unless the poster was in the room watching the Seal do his thing, this poster KNOWS the same as the rest of us.

What happened to INNOCENT until proven guilty? - Oh that's right ... Democrats only or people that do not say anything negative about the White House.

I think the Dems should prosecute this American Hero - RIGHT NOW before the election!!! Let's get to the bottom of this. Holder should put his two best guys on it!

Shocker.
(CNSNews.com) – Is the U.S. Army headed in the right direction?
An internal Army survey that was conducted in 2011 and published this year discovered that only 26 percent of active-duty Army officers say yes–and that one of the two main themes cited by those who say no is that the Army is now adversely impacted by “political correctness” imposed by both outside policymakers and senior Army leaders.

The 26 percent who said the Army was headed in the right direction in 2011 was the lowest percentage who gave that response since the Army began conducting this survey in 2005. It was also significant drop from the 33 percent who had said the Army was heading in the right direction in 2010.

In the 2011 survey, in contrast to the 26 percent who said the Army was heading in the right direction, 38 percent said it was headed in the wrong direction and another 36 percent remained neutral on the topic, neither agreeing nor disagreeing that the army is heading in the right direction.

The report said that 24 percent of those who believed the Army was not headed in the right direction provided additional comments on why they believed that was the case. “Two themes stood out in these comments,” said the report. The first was concern over the downsizing of the Army and the impact it might have on national security.

The second was the impact of “political correctness.”

“Secondly,” said the report, ”several comments indicated that political correctness or the influence of politics in the Army is a reason the Army is not headed in the right direction. These comments generally cited the negative influence of government policy makers (outside the Army) as being detrimental to the future of the Army, and indicated that senior Army leaders themselves felt the need to bow to ‘politically correct solutions’ to appease policy makers, or to ‘play politics’ within their own organizations.”

Daily Caller: President Barack Obama was greeted with fleeting applause and extended periods of silence as he offered profuse praise to soldiers and their families during an Aug. 31 speech in Fort Bliss, Texas.
His praise for the soldiers — and for his own national-security policies — won cheers from only a small proportion of the soldiers and families in the cavernous aircraft-hanger.
The audience remains quiet even when the commander-in-chief thanked the soldiers’ families, and cited the 198 deaths of their comrades in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The audience’s reaction was so flat that the president tried twice to elicit a reaction from the crowd.
“Hey, I hear you,” he said amid silence.
The selected soldiers who were arrayed behind the president sat quietly throughout the speech.
CNN and MSNBC ended their coverage of the speech before it was half-over.

So, crossing the aisle would inconvenience him? Replace this man because he;s now throwin his kids under the bus. Some man, huh?

Under the bus.
Via Breitbart:
President Barack Obama is partly blaming his family and children for his inability to lessen Washington’s partisanship and gridlock during his first term.

On CNN’s “State of the Union” Sunday show, Jessica Yellin said she interviewed Obama for a forthcoming documentary and asked him why he did not do more outreach to Republicans in the beginning of his term to bridge the divides Obama often rails against.

Yellin said Obama told her one of the reasons he did not was because he wanted to spend more time at home with his kids and family.

“He was trying to spend some time at home with his family in the evenings and on the weekends,” Yellin said.
Yellin noted Obama suggested things may be different in the second term when his kids are older.
“If this was such a priority, why didn’t he do it?,” Yellin asked. “You can carve out one night a week to go out and socialize and reach across the aisle.”

Re: Obamabastic !!

Thanks, Mr. Obama, great quote!!

This is too good... Be sure to check out where the "quote" came from
The Quote of the Decade:
"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America 's debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that, "the buck stops here.' Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better."
~ Senator Barack H. Obama, March 2006
(.. .it was so nice of him to give us this great quote for posterity!) SO, USE IT!!!
