under a democratic utopia American citizens would not be able to own guns and criminals would be able to easily smuggle them across an open border to use against its defenseless citizenry.

If one can pass a background check, they got nothing to worry about. It's hilarious that republicans want an ID to vote but want no " inconvenience" when it comes to buying a gun.

The right of the people to keep and BEAR arms shall not be infringed.

Background checks are an infringement, and therefore unconstitutional.

Having to apply to get a concealed weapons permit is an infringement, and therefore unconstitutional.

Not being able to open carry everywhere is an infringement, and therefore unconstitutional.

In my opinion.
