Although this reply doesn't directly answer your posts question about age it's very good advice. There are many times I wish I would have invested in the stock market at an early age. Bought up and coming stocks that will be very valuable in say 40 years. Real estate is another one. I always hear of those older guys who bought Apple,Google,Microsoft, land at an early age and are now multimillionaires. If you don't think it's something to consider now, it will be when your in your 50's.

I'm a silent partner in my brother 's business and yet I still use a trusted financial advisor, lawyer and CPA.

Lemme tell you a little something about financial advisors. There is not a single reason that I, someone who knows more about the market than your average Joe and about as much as an "advisor" would, am not going to take somebody else's "advice". That is probably the number 1 rule of the trading world. Just because Warren Buffett says to buy a stock, doesn't mean it's a good idea. "Advisors" like that are on average correct about 70% of the time and that's at best. I don't care if you think I'm a liberal snowflake or whatever you people think I am that knows nothing about anything. I was raised properly and I have my head screwed on straight. I didn't go to college, because it's a bull scam and I'm making more than anyone I went to high school with in a single day than some of them do in a week. Not to mention they are all drowning in debt and I am not. I work my ass off for what I have and what I have earned. I'm tired of all you thinking I'm just some arrogant kid because I have different ideas from you. Guess what? I don't need or want a financial advisor. Who the cares? I have a lawyer and I have a tax accountant because I hate doing taxes. There is absolutely no reason that I need to have any of the things you all seem to think I do. If you want to actually have a discussion with me or an argument about why or why not to have a financial advisor then great, but attacking my character by saying I'm just an arrogant kid, doesn't prove your point at all. It just makes you seem like a real jackass.
