Raise in new contract

You can tell me I’m not getting whatever but I will walk august 1 and we’ll see who gets what. Grow a pair please. Ups doubled their profits and you want the same raises? Are you management? O’Brien said no concessions. Sorry but what you are describing is a concession.
Doubled? You're not paying attention.

When I need your opinion I’ll give it to you. DOUBLED…..like I said.
First, little fella, you wouldn't talk to to me like that in person, so don't mistake your internet and keyboard for a pair of balls...

Secondly, you're not looking at any numbers if you're saying they "doubled" their profit. You're parroting some :censored2: you heard or just making it up. Look up the real numbers and tell me what their profit increase was from 2017 to 2022.

We ain’t getting $1 raise august first. You can come up with whatever number you want, but it will be more than $1. What a slap in the face.
What I heard last night was really good, But I haven’t seen anything official about any raise yet, while I can agree with you if what I saw was true, that’s too little imo. I can also disagree with you that the amount you think you’re going to get is is not going to happen, I will wait to see the final official offer. I would say any offer approved by the international has a very high percentage chance of passing, no matter what you or I think. If 22.4 is gone, forced 6th day punch is eliminated, PVD is addressed, part-timers are taken care of, this national contract will pass. I have heard some issues with some supplements as well as there’s still two supplements I don’t believe are finished. Could be the fly in the ointment

He should probably be ignored at this point, along with a few others. Anyone who thinks we’re getting $8 -$10 dollars an hour August 1 plus a two dollar raise every year isn’t living in reality.

You’re going to walk? Would you be by yourself?

You can take your question about if I’m in management and shove it up your ass.
There’s no concessions in anything I said.

Sorry, but what you’re describing sounds like you’re a spoiled little brat.

What did you hear that is really good? I see no way this passes without a substantial raise.

I don't know man, you no call no show three days, I don't want my loop next to yours. Eff dat hombre. Accountability is lacking nowadays. Losing seniority is harsh...but IMO 3 no call no shows should be a termination. 🤷
Your exactly right, the union and company acted like there is nothing in the books to prevent guys from being habitual no call no shows but there is, it's called progressive discipline on attendance. I also agree that if you fail to come to work and don't notify management, unless under extreme conditions, you don't want to work here and should be fired. As a steward, I can't defend an attendance problem in most cases. I just can't agree to give the company the power to strip seniority from a guy no matter what they've done. There seems like an obvious "slippery slope" with this power, and if you give UPS an inch, they take a mile.
