I’d almost have rather not even seen the leaked proposal from ups. I’m willing to strike just for the disrespect of that bs
Well we do not know if it’s indeed valid, and there is a reason most negotiations are kept secret. If that offer was legitimate, it is not the first awful proposal UPS has ever made, and it won’t be the last.I’d almost have rather not even seen the leaked proposal from ups. That is indeed true, but there have been leaks all over the place lately, especially with contract negotiations. It would have been in the unions interest to leak this. First, it enrages the work group and fires them up. Most importantly, it generates support from the media and applies massive pressure on UPS. Without getting into politics, the party in power is supposed to be the party of labor and they have failed miserably in that regard. Railroad contract and Amazon unionization have been public failures. They need a win desperately and our contract could put them in the good graces of labor again.Well we do not know if it’s indeed valid, and there is a reason most negotiations are kept secret. I was cautiously optimistic. And then this gets leaked...Are they negotiating our contract? Hmmm they always claim to be separate from the IBT.
Teamsters United is TDU. They'll tell you whatever you'll believe.
Settle downNo more negotiations, lets strike.
The ball is in their court. They can still avoid a strike if they act quickly. No more negotiations, lets strike.

You're a .Our members won't strike. We'll fold like a cheap suit and work for less
You're a .
I bet there's a large percentage that will cross
Your dumb mass can't even quote so I can't quote you. Wtf is "large?"
Settle down
Never mind. I got you figured out.Lol!! I'd day 3/4 around here. Especially if they're offered a $1 an hour raise and a chance at unfilled driver positions.
Drivers will come back if offered unfilled feeder positions.
Over 60 optional is a win for 3 weeks in December . that . 6th day needs to be optional . Nobody cares about 60, doesn’t effect us 90% of the yearOver 60 hours is optional now.
More money for 9.5 violations.
More money for 8 hour request. These are wins.
If we get rid of the 22.4 language they can’t use that force in seniority order language against us anymore, that will end forced 6th punch in the southern at least.
It’s what the company decides to do at the end of the day. We’re making it more expensive to work us excessively.
Sounds like you haven’t done any work organizing at your building. Or putting pressure on your local to engage the members.Lol!! I'd day 3/4 around here. Especially if they're offered a $1 an hour raise and a chance at unfilled driver positions.

So I guess you like being forced over 60 hours since you’re so upset about that language.Over 60 optional is a win for 3 weeks in December . that . 6th day needs to be optional . Nobody cares about 60, doesn’t effect us 90% of the year
An $18 raise? What kind of fairy tale are you living in expecting that much?We should just make the announcement now…strike 8/1. No more negotiations til 8/2. What an insult. To even come like that…..I could understand coming in at $15 total Raise over 5 years and SOB gets them to $18 but that is just stupid. We need $$.
not at once, over 5 years. An $18 raise? What kind of fairy tale are you living in expecting that much?
