I am not begrudging you, your opinion or your faith, if you will, that your relationship with Jesus is dependent on a religious book.

Why are you begrudging me, my opinion or my faith, if you will, that my relationship with Jesus is dependent on nothing but Jesus and His Holy Spirit and is not at all dependent on a religious book.

However useful that I may believe that religious book may be.
You do understand how illogical this is! That special revelation, the Bible, through centuries of meticulously, copying and care superintend by the Holy Spirit is how you even know about Him

I am only claiming we cannot really understand if we are living a life surrendered to Christ without understanding and believing the book that told us who he is and what he’s done.

Obviously, some of us had had disagreements about what it said, but we do earnestly believe it is the book that gives us the blueprint. You apparently do not.
I understand what you are claiming. I am claiming you can.

Yes, I understand of disagreement, but I am claiming a disagreement with all who view it as a blueprint. I view it as useful yes, but I view Jesus alone as the blueprint, the way the truth and the life. I do not begrudge you using it as a blueprint, why do you begrudge me using Jesus alone as the blueprint?

Again, I’m not begrudging you. I’m asking you to think clearly about how you can be sure everything you feel your hearing is from Jesus or the Holy Spirit. You have to have some sort of. Measuring stick and the Bible would be that stick. If the spirit is telling you something different than the Bible says, there’s a good chance you’re being led astray.

Apologize if I’m coming off as begrudging. But my belief would be if I didn’t tell you you should rethink your belief. I would be judged.. You are, of course able to do whatever you choose with my opinion. Hopefully you take it into account and consider it.
I understand you are only following your conscience based upon your faith in your belief. Not that it matters to anyone except to me I find you to be sincere in your desires and communicating your positions on your faith and your religion and your relationship with God.

Because if the Bible didn't exist you wouldn't know about Jesus. Christianity would've been stamped out by non believers long ago. Untold numbers of people died distributing the Bible to non believers over the centuries and what we're getting from you is basically meh, you can take it or leave it.

Please explain to me what part you don’t understand.

Jesus himself is the measuring stick not the Bible. Look at Jesus and you will see the measuring stick that I use.

I have said this on numerous of occasions it is Jesus alone. He is a measuring stick.

This is a reach my friend. You truly believe the omnipotent God is dependent on what you think would have or could have happened. Believe the Bible to be as all powerful as you want it’s fine by me.

Meticulously, care, you are kidding. do you even know the amount and the motivations behind some of the multitude translations?

Faithful Translations Are Based on Reliable Manuscripts. Translations today use thousands of early manuscripts:

Over 5,800 Greek New Testament manuscripts, 10,000+ Latin, and 9,300+ others (Syriac, Coptic, Armenian, etc.)

The Dead Sea Scrolls confirm the accuracy of Old Testament texts over thousands of years.

Modern translations (e.g., ESV, NASB, NIV, CSB) are the product of scholarly review teams using the earliest and most reliable manuscripts.

The Bible has better manuscript evidence than any other work of ancient literature—far more than Plato, Aristotle, or Homer.

And…

God not only inspired Scripture but preserved it.
Isaiah 40:8 — “The word of our God will stand forever.”

Through centuries of manuscript copying, translation, and canon discernment, God has preserved His Word through fallible people.

This doesn’t require every copy or translation to be perfect, but that the core message and truth is reliably accessible.

Can you tell me why when Europeans arrived in America they didn't encounter Christians? Why are billions Hindu, Muslim, or Buddhists? Jesus said no man comes to his Father except through him. They didn't have the Bible. Why didn't Jesus reveal himself to these people? Are there any.known examples of Jesus revealing himself to them but they rejected him? Or could it be that the Bible is in limited distribution throughout.those lands?

No.
I don’t know.
You know that He didn’t.
I don’t know, do you.
Could it be?
