I think your friend started making excuses when we got to the root of the issue which is why as a christian do you give a pass to political and economic evil

Again, you define everything that isn't done the way you want as evil. Especially if someone is getting rich doing it.
The fact is the govt does some evil and you are indifferent to it. Why?

I live my life to follow Christ. I serve Him. There is no excuse involving inactivity simply because you proclaim it. If there is a cause I feel led to take part in I will.
So have you ever fight against govt evil?

I vote for the people I want to serve in my governments. If I have something to say to them I say it. I have not felt led to take part in protests the way that you exclaim are so important. I do my part to put the people in place that I feel best represents me. If Christ puts it upon my heart to do more then I will. I don't place the emphasis on fighting government the way you do
You are a better christian than some ppl here and i dont have to graduate harvard divinity school to say it, its just obvious
Why dont you go to protests?

It's not been something I've felt I was being called to do.
Some bc members genuinely believe theyre useless. Some are just lying and engaged in self deception which is extremely common.

No. I have my political opinions and don't hide them if someone asks about them. But I care more about trying to bring people to Christ and I don't care what the politics are as a primary priority.
I think its a short coming in ppls interpretation of it. I think it makes religion relevant
If the world symbolically goes to hell, do you think ppl will believe in jesus more or less?

The world has always had it's problems. You don't have to look any further than the Old Testament to see how messed up people have been. Everyone has the choice to make whether to follow Christ or follow their own ways. I do my part to try and convince who I can that Christ is the way. I don't disown those who don't but I feel Christ is with me and it's up to me to do my best to glorify Him.
