And you consistently downplay the Bible's importance yet you're semi quoting it. You can't have it both ways, telling us how much you love the Bible yet are quick to point out it's not needed. It's very much needed. Having thoughts in your mind and attributing them to God talking to you says to me, with all due respect, that you are delusional. God speaks to us through the Bible he has given us as our guide. There's nothing in it that says he will speak directly to Christians. You're telling us we must disregard what the Bible says if it's in conflict with what God has told you directly. God wouldn't give us a guide and then give us conflicting commands. Only someone filled up with his own self deluded importance would think otherwise.

You may reach the conclusion that the Bible is not a revelation from God. But there is no way possible for you to reach the conclusion that the Bible does not claim to be inspired from God and the Bible refers to itself as being the word of God.
There can be no doubt that the first century church accepted the Old Testament as a direct revelation from God and the apostles doctrine as being a revelation on the same level with the Old Testament.

i am against killing born babies. i am in favor of abortion which the majority of the world is.

why are some people in favor of killing born babies or silent about it in gaza, but against abortion?

it is a failure to apply moral principles consistently

Oh..Oh..That really hurt my feelings.

I was making fun of you.
Everything you say is so whacked out. You're a lost ball in high weeds.
and yet i was still able to tie it to capitalism. thats how deep the matrix runs mister anderson.

for example us govt has economic interests in the middle east which means they want to support israeli mania

News flash: abortion is killing babies. Why are you silent about the babies murdered by the Palestinians on October 7th that led to this mess? Why are you ok with murdering tens of millions of babies through abortion?

Then you and Brownflushy might want to chat it up and compare notes.

Intellectual and spiritual pride by my observation and experience is delusional and not productive or conducive to obtaining a vibrant and real relationship with God.

It seems to keep you 2 in unbelief that a relationship so wonderful with our Heavenly Father is even possible.

It seems to me that believing you can truly get know your Father from simply and exclusively reading a book about Him is what really needs to be looked at as perhaps the most delusional theological position you both spout.

I say this with love my brethren.

No you don't. It's absolutely delusional to think that your thoughts is God talking to you. God wouldn't tell us something in the Bible and then contradict himself by telling you something different. Besides the fact he doesn't talk directly to us. You've made up your mind to reject portions of the Bible and then justify it by saying God told you to. The writers of the Bible were inspired, guided by the Holy Spirit. You aren't. You're deluded to believe otherwise.

Sorry you don’t believe. As I said, I believe spiritual, and intellectual pride is keeping you from believing this. Your unbelief may be the very thing you must get over before you will hear His voice.

Do you believe you have a conscience?

Is there a place called Hell, where there will be eternal punishment?
@Integrity .. What is your answer? (2nd attempt)
It seems
It seems to me

Because you refuse and can't answer questions doesn't mean there is pride coming from the questionnaire. Blaming the one who questions your baseless position(s) shows you are full of pride and arrogance because you're unwilling to change.
