I know ... just like Obamacare!
Obamacare certainly was not good for America.
Got the USA in the mess it's in today.

But then again, one good :censored2:ing deserves another.
Fake. The ACA took 18 months and was written and debated in public. It added in over 200 republican amendments. This is nothing like that. This is being written in secret by 13 dudes. They plan on having no debates and no amendments. This is not normal.

Having a government is not natural either.
Just like having a grass lawn!
Never seen lawn grass in nature.

Where are all the trumpanzees now that the senate released their bill? Let's hear how you think it's a good plan. It keeps the basic tenets of the ACA but strips away all the taxes that pay for it, yeah fiscal conservatism! It claims to end the Medicaid expansion in 2025, who thinks that'll happen? It screws with subsidies so rich young people don't have to pay as much as older poor folk, yeah populist Trump! At least all the polling shows 16-17% of people think the bill is a good idea.

The ACA was written behind closed doors with absolutely no Republican input. Are you serious? If the Republicans amended it as much as you say why did none of them vote for it? Nancy Pelosi didn't even know what was in it. Seriously?

I was wrong. They proposed around 160 amendments. 20 something got added in. How is this current republican process an improvement. I think it was Mike Lee that is alegedly on the comittee writing this bill, said he had no idea what was in it and how it differed from the house bill. What part of the new bill do you think is a good idea?

I'm sorry, but after the attempt to bring down the President with an untold number of lies I can't believe anything from the Left on what the Right is doing. I do remember at the time numerous complaints from Republicans that they were being shut out of the legislative process, the writing of the bill. Same bill that Obama lied to the American public over. And not one Republican voted for. Bi-partisan? Yeah, right.

I'm not familiar with the parts yet. But replacing the ACA with something families can afford is a damn good idea.

You'll need to define "afford." I can sell you an "insurance" plan that doesn't cover things like hospital visits or trips to the ER and only covers $1000 for your whole lifetime. It will be affordable, but it won't do you any good. That's the gist of the republican plan.

"Afford" is not getting hammered with higher and higher premiums every year. And seriously, it was never about helping Americans with affordable healthcare. Just a stepping stone to Socialism. Any lies told to get us there was worth it to the Dems.

Yet Trump's positive ratings are better than the Democrats in Congress.

The end game is Single Payer.
It's inevitable but how long before a Single Payer Healthcare system?
Will the politicians let US citizens pay for healthcare beyond the core?

Single-payer healthcare is a system in which all residents pay the state – via taxes in amounts determined by the state – to cover core healthcare costs for all residents regardless of income, occupation, or health status.
