I'd give it 50/50 on Us or Russia shelling that nuclear plant.
I'd give it 50/50 on Us or Russia shelling that nuclear plant.
Who benefits?
Who benefits?
Ukraine/NATO/US gains massively on a new PR angle for war and sanctions and new powers and whatever else they want.
Russia gains nothing.
As with any crime, it lies at the intersection of motive and opportunity.
He is cold, calculating, evil, and absolutely rational. You're ascribing a certain level of rationality to a Russian dictator who is not acting rationally. And much like shelling civilian neighborhoods, firing at or toward a Ukrainian nuclear plant is a message and a threat intended to demoralize Ukrainians since Putin's original plan of rolling in and taking the country within a few days didn't work out so well for him.
He is cold, calculating, evil, and absolutely rational.
He is much better off with sanctions of any kind than a neighbor of this size in the US/NATO pocket. That was the widespread assumption about Putin before he chose the path he did in Ukraine. Which is why most Ukrainians didn't think an invasion would actually occur and Zelenskyy himself was downplaying the possibility until it actually happened.
Putin has since shown otherwise.
He is much better off with sanctions of any kind than a neighbor of this size in the US/NATO pocket.
The US already overthew the Ukrainian government.
Putin would be insane not to invade.
We shall see. Anything can go any direction. It's all a question of probabilities and risks and rewards. Is he? Russia's economy is already collapsing. And is there any evidence that Ukraine has been in the US/NATO's pocket?
In any case, Ukraine sure will be now. Russia has clearly demonstrated the need for NATO and strong alliances in eastern Europe.
They kicked out Russia's puppet that allowed them to maintain control over Ukraine? How'd they do that?
Putin will come out of this far worse off than he would have been had he not launched the invasion.
With all attempts to take the capital stalled I heard Putin was calling up reserves from as far away as his Pacific coastline.
The U.S. didn't overthrow the Ukrainian government. He is much better off with sanctions of any kind than a neighbor of this size in the US/NATO pocket.
He promised them for years that he would do this if they kept pursuing NATO inclusion. The US already overthew the Ukrainian government.
Putin would be insane not to invade.
Yah, let's keep it turned on for countries that attack other countries unprovoked.
thank god you werent around in 1776Ukraine is going to lose a lot of life thanks to the zelensky government refusing to allow them to flee: this is literally all on them. It’s an unsinkable war against Russia: GAE just wants war. They want war with Russia. This is the new npc talking point and the soldiers have been activated.
thank god you werent around in 1776
If the nascent US were a bunch of crossdressing gay dudes corrupt to any willing buyer, I wouldn't support them either.thank god you werent around in 1776
What do you think is irrational about this? You're ascribing a certain level of rationality to a Russian dictator who is not acting rationally.
some reason I'm surprised to see you make that commentIf the nascent US were a bunch of crossdressing gay dudes corrupt to any willing buyer, I wouldn't support them either.
