Everyone making the same rate get a raise. What is your point?
You’re simply angry that you started at a lower rate, but so did I and I’m not angry that a driver with 4 years makes the exact same rate I do. You don’t want to fix the problem, you want to perpetuate it.

The 22.3 is a different classification we’ve already been over that. If you want their wages go 22.3.

You’re not going to get $35 an hour sorry it was never on the table. But your insistence that you make more than someone who does the same job with you chose me you are only a hypocrite like the rest of these whiny baby partimers.

O’Brien did trying to soften the blow, but it wasn’t necessary. I’m sure he was well aware that would be Measters who would be complaining.
I just got my hopes up man. Come on, you have to understand it’s a slap in the face to have almost your entire campaign be “it’s time we take care of the long term part timers” and I end up getting an extra dollar

Or...maybe no one thinks ten years is really that big of a deal. Plenty of 15 and 20+ year guys out there, maybe that's a long-time PTer. Maybe you just didn't make the cut.

It’s not a slap in the face bringing people up to your level. Hopefully we can do it another six dollars next contract.

That’s easy for you to say. There will always be a gap in pay between you and a new hire. A substantial one at that. How would you feel if they were making the same as you? Or better yet how would you feel if they could put their vacation in the same time as you? I have no problem with new hires getting more money. I don’t agree about the rate and progression that they get it. Especially when a ten year guys is almost equal to a new hire. The fact that anyone would argue that is right blows my mind.
Last contract new hires 13 jump to 16 plus pick season bonuses, seniority gets cheap change, no bonuses, now to 21, who knows again bonuses. Stop being complacent, this still bad for Seniority Part timers, while they get dollars amount over last contract and this new tentative one plus maybe bonuses, Seniority getting pennies, that's the truth. Union benefits new hires, because they want them enroll in the Teamsters union. They don't care about seniority. Seniority doesn't pay the bills. Keep that in mind.

Seniority isn’t for money, it’s for bidding rights job selection, and vacations. Also, please learn English.

Do you need an air compressor or tire gauge

Long time pts are getting an immediate $4.25 raise. That is unheard of. You know in the last contract we got $4.15 total? Over 5 years. The day 1 raise for 15 year pters is more than all the raises of the last contract combined. I think SOB delivered!

Long term part timers are not getting it, new hires are. Ups NEEDED to give these raises to get people in the door. They’re paying more in MRAs

Long term part timers are indeed getting 4.25. 2.75 + 1.50 is simple math. You're just not long term yet. You'll get there eventually and reap the benefits.

I’ve been here over a decade, you don’t consider that long term?
Did you not also notice the nice pension increase you got?
