You can buy UPS stock at a discounted price pretty easily. No doubt! But the shareholders didn’t EARN a penny of those buybacks and dividends! Our asses did!

We can also talk ourselves out of everythingEvery penny we don’t push for will be spent on replacing us with technology! Be grateful for that!
Wrong.So. All new PT hires are getting $21?
Current employees get bumped from $21 + $2.75 + (up to) $1.50?
Seems pretty fair.
However, current employees who have been there for 8-10 years and someone who made seniority yesterday would nearly be making the same amount with the difference being how much of that $1.50 they receive. Do I have that right or am I missing something?
You knew it would be like that. certain people wouldn’t be happy with anything less than a million dollars in cash from the CEO. And then they’d say why isn’t it 2 millionEveryone's getting a nice raise and they're still crying
Unbelievable
It's a really good contractYou knew it would be like that. certain people wouldn’t be happy with anything less than a million dollars in cash from the CEO. And then they’d say why isn’t it 2 million
The worst things I've been seeing is people continually posting false info. Then when they get called out they just do it again elsewhere. It's one thing if you don't agree with something but lying to get others to believe the same is very dangerous. It's a really good contract
We got a decent raise and we got tons of good language and no give backs

i get it though. It’s a bummer when the company is willingly paying you more through an MRA than what I’ll get at the end of the 5 year contract
which is still way to low if new employees are coming in at $21 an hour.
thereby making the same as someone hired after aug 1st 2023)
By the ta it would get you an additional .50 over the contractual rate.if you’ve been six years and change how much of a seniority raise does that get you it says up to 1.50
Ugh well a lot better than 17.85 I guess. Wanna go driving again anyway I hope soonBy the ta it would get you an additional .50 over the contractual rate.
It's another sell out by the Union. It's a really good contract

Well on the one hand about a 20 percent bump up is nice but it would be nice if the people who stuck it out for 5-10 years or more would get a bit more than people hired off the street tomorrow that most of which quit after 3 daysBecause if they put that higher rate in the contract, they would have to pay everybody that. Not every area has an MRA. Actually, the majority does not.
Another complainer that they think they should be paid more to do the same job than somebody else.
What is the hang up with you people thinking you should be making more money to do the same job than someone else?
You think they have to put in their time, pay their dues? Sorry, they are doing the same job you are doing. They should be making the same money.
Yeah you are. It's another sell out by the Union.
Job abandonment = immediate (and permanent) termination. So I just saw a group trying to organize a no vote campaign and they want to wildcat strike on Tuesday against this "sellout contract".
