Seniority...... who's got what???

Being we are have a individual vote on seniority I would like to have a vote on holidays a vote on sick days a vote on vacation weeks and a few other things

The only difference in the items you are asking for the company has a say... They don't have a say on seniority.

You are right... Why would the company care if it doesn't effect their money... If the company had a say on our seniority rights... They would have took it away from us a long time ago!

One, Senioirty and what you are saying are two different things... Two, that is garbage proposal... The company makes out because part timers work half the time then full Time... If the members voted on that, then what could you do... I would vote no... Three, That would have to be proposed and negotiated on before it is in a tentative agreement...

My point is there will be no individual vote on your seniority proposal.....members will be voting on a contract not an individual seniority proposal

How do you know what's in the contract ups and the local haven't even sat down about the contract......so again how do you know that it will be in the contract?

I will ask for a 2nd time.....if I start my proposal to keep what's in the contract and I get so many people to sign it along with package and a lot of part timers and I have more numbers than your company seniority you will not oppose my part timers knocking down your proposal???
