You should determine where those coal shipments are going , go to those places and protest against the burning of coal . Take along a few hundred friends with you . Report back to us on how well it went . My bet would be that the locals tried to kill you for stealing their jobs .

Eastern mining is done with a below ground mine ; with shafts and tunnels .
Western mining with it's wide open areas is done by using an open pit type .
Two completely different methods .

Its more about the coal seams are much wider in the west.

Probably a 10 foot seam in the east vs 100 feet in the west so different mining methods are used.

trump did not run against the unions. In fact operating in new York city you could reasonably make the argument that Trump had to work with some of the toughest unions in the country.
