Eight days before Mr. Trump is to be sworn in as president, the human-rights advocacy group declared that his path to power, in a campaign marked by “misogynistic, xenophobic and racist rhetoric,” could “cause tremendous harm to vulnerable communities, contravene the United States’ core human rights obligations, or both.”

As a proud member of the SPLC, I'm well aware that Trump has been the basis of a great deal of credible fear. Hate crimes are way up, but, of course, there's no connection with Trump, is there?
A mosque was burned in Washington State yesterday (arson), and it isn't uncommon to see or hear racial insults on the uptick, plus, of course, those lovely Confederate flag stickers.

I sure wish I could get some of that White female privilege. I'm White, female and have been struggling my whole life. Don't earn enough to do anything and make too much to get welfare or food stamps. Too white to get affirmative action. Where can I find that White privilege?
