It's California. If you have a medical Marijuana card you can have an ounce legally. So, it would be have a nice day as well

I go 2 weeks at a time without smoking just to prove to myself I can.
I have to take opiates (hydrocodone) for pain when I don't so it's a choice.

If that same cop pulls you over and there are fewer than 6 beers in that pack you may also go to jail.
