Exactly! I ask my parents if they were any fat kids/adults in the 70s-80s. They existed but not at the rate we are at now.

I'll pull over to park and I do a quick head count so I know how many kids were there when I got back from making my delivery.

They did that to me once in an Amazon package car and I only caught it due to the rear backup camera. I never felt like an old man in my life ever until I shooed them away. Lol

We didn't have cookies, potato chips and soda laying around the house

Most of the cereal we had was either Cheerios or regular corn flakes.

We also got a lot of garden vegetables during the summer from our garden.
