TENTATIVE AGREEMENT REACHED AT UPS

Yeah from what I understand it’s 2.75 and 1.50 for part timers. Which okay is what I should be based on the market and inflation.

I’m still voting no. They didn’t take care of me during Covid, still no Covid bonus for what we went through that year round peak.

We got our market value raises yes great. Still didn’t make up for Covid for what we did for this company.
crazy to me how anyone thinks they deserve some covid pay

I think most of the money went to part time just like Sean said it would. Full time raise is a reasonable all be it not groundbreaking. At the end of this contract base pay working on the eight hours will be over 100 K.
That’s fine but that’s five years away. Heard anything about increases to retirement, or lack thereof.

Been here roughly the same time :censored2: nozzle.

I never said IMMEDIATELY. I also was not the one to say “should have gotten a raise” We will all will get the raise, just not see it immediately.
My guy. Read what I said. I said people on Reddit think we get an immediate $2.75 plus an additional $7.50 over the life of the contract. I then said the only part of that that’s right is the initial $2.75. I then clarified that we won’t see that raise until the contract is ratified. Have I broken that down for you enough to understand now? We are arguing the same thing, crayon eater.

Yeah year round peak aged me. Also they didn’t provide any mask didn’t enforce mask and we had at least 10 incidents where Covid spread on a work area at different times over it. A couple of them still have long Covid.
So we definitely deserve something.

As a federal contractor, UPS is obligated to pay $16.20 an hour

You obviously can’t comprehend. I quoted what was negotiated in the contract, not what they are paying.

which here, will allow you to squat in a vacant lot.

Then move. Never understood why people like you think you deserve more than everybody else just because you elect to live in a high cost of living area.

So who is the stupid one?

So friend you,

You’re brilliant.

I agree, this is the one contract where we really had the leverage. We should have gotten something extra for covid.

Frankly, this might be one of the few times I agree about a bonus. The company continually says they only made that money because of. The Covid crisis. So they can’t afford to give us a raise because of it well then fine give me a bonus maybe $5000 $2500 each for 2020 and 2021.

Again , you’re not even feigning an attempt to rebut my point from earlier.

I’m sure you know that you’re just reiterating a straw man talking point.

…But if you aren’t aware you’re doing that , then I feel bad for debating someone with a cognitive disability.

You said a 35% raise right off the bat is not a win.

What are you snorting through that straw(man).
