2.75 per hour in 2023 it does not immediately.Stay away from Reddit right now. Too many people lack reading comprehension and don’t understand that it’s not $2.75 immediately with an additional $7.50 over the life of the contract.
Do you break promises on a regular basis?Current PTers will be given first choice as to whether they want to work at PVD's or in their current roles. Any shortages would be filled with seasonal hires, which they would probably throw in to the unload.
PVD is not a bad gig----hourly rate plus mileage (IRS reimbursement rate).
I think most of the money went to part time just like Sean said it would. Full time raise is a reasonable all be it not groundbreaking. At the end of this contract base pay working on the eight hours will be over 100 K.Everybody else got a ratification bonus on top of their raises. Where’s ours? Hell ABF got more of an inflation bump then we did.
Any part timers who thought they would suddenly get a huge bump to the same as FT rates weren't living in the real world. It does look like they got most of what they wanted though.I think most of the money went to part time it’s just like Sean said it would. A race is a reasonable all be it not groundbreaking. $2.75 next Tuesday.2.75 per hour in 2023 it does not immediately.
Who thinks it immediately
YawnThat's not the way I am reading it----it sounds like it is either/or, hence the 8 hour guarantee.
If they did work 5-6 hours on the preload that would only give them 2-3 hours as a PVD-----by the time they got their first load from the drop off they would have to punch out, unless they allowed them to work beyond their 8.
Speaking of yourself, I see!I see the "irrelevant, doesn't add squat to any conversation" one is still here.
All this affects you how?I don't know what kind of car you drive but try stuffing 20-25 stops in to an Altima, even one with all the bells and whistles. Then try to imagine driving back and forth from the drop off point 5-10 times during your shift. Add the wear and tear on your vehicle and you will find that it would be much easier to be a jumper again this year.
so glad the Millennials took care of business this contract
Immediately as in when the contract is ratified. Which is what it is, $2.75 will be the first raise of the contract which we SHOULD have gotten August 1st but it won’t be ratified by then. The rest of what they’re saying, however, is bogus. You don’t get $7.50 more over the life of the contract on top of the first $2.75, you get $4.75 more.2.75 per hour in 2023 it does not immediately.

That is not at all true. everyone will get a retro check for that 2.75 moving forward starting august 1stImmediately as in when the contract is ratified. Don’t blame me if your english sucks ass.No *
Don’t blame me if you don’t understand context. I’ve been with this company for 21 years, I am VERY well aware of how retro checks work.Don’t blame me if your english sucks ass.
That would be a concession and they have stated they’ve made no concessions. I’m assuming that means it’s still a double time day.Does the day after Thanksgiving stay the same, or is a regular work day at straight pay?
Been here roughly the same time nozzle.Don’t blame me if you don’t understand context. I’ve been with this company for 21 years, I am VERY well aware of how retro checks work.
They won’t get it immediately. Immediately means they get it August first. Which they won’t. They won’t see that money OR the back pay until ratification.
Again , you’re not even feigning an attempt to rebut my point from earlier.I made it simple.
The starting PT rate went from $15.50 to $21.00. That is a 35% raise.
