I understand it completely!! You're not understanding that the pay that is being proposed is subpar. We deserve way better along with the package.
It’s in no way “subpar”. It’s actually par. Maybe not spectacular by very reasonable, especially with all the other ones who supposedly have.

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.

Honestly, I figured about a 18% raise, 7-8 bucks. I’m not thrilled with what you’re getting, but it’s also the elimination of 22.4, and creating more full time jobs, keeping great benefits and pension increases, to name a few. Overall it’s a contract I could live with.

It’s not a bad contract other than the 4 year progression. Mechanic progression was dropped from 24 to 12 months. So why can’t drivers get a little help along the way. Yes top rate is great but getting there is straight HELL

The progression sucks. It was 2 years when I started and that sucked. 4 years is ridiculous.

If the progression for RPCD is not Shortened or at least percentages per year raised, IM A NO!

Will probably still pass, but oh well.
The progression is never going to be shortened. We all dealt with it on some level. Is four years too long? Yes, but it is what it is. Some waited three. Some waited less.

I have to believe the 4 year progression contributes to guys quitting driving and keeps pt from going into it. But, I guess it weeds out the weak.

Terrible, but not nearly as bad as some snowflake PTer that sheds "blood, sweat and tears" for 9 years waiting for a driver's job. It must be unbearable for, well...a few days for a a few hours...LOL
I'm not part time. I am a full time driver. I have been with this company for 18 years. I did 9 years of cover driving waiting for a full time job. The blood sweat and tears comment isn't literal my dude. If you had any sort of experience cover driving or driving in general you would understand what I meant. I shouldn't have to explain that to you.

Snowflake? Good lord, you know nothing about me or my experiences at UPS. You make assumptions based on my opinion of a sub standard contract that will result in a pay decrease. Get :censored2:ed. You sound like a manager to be honest.
