Texas school shooting

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.
I’ve also heard that is the proper method for basically any police force responding to even a possible active shooter scene especially in a school following Columbine and some other shooting I’m not too familiar with. You do not wait for swat or tactical teams, you get your rag tag group and you go in immediately if you want to be a police officer. They should all lose their :censored2:ing jobs over this, you don’t not deserve the respect and authority other officers have died earning that badge if you refuse to save children’s lives in a situation like this.

I can understand restraining hysterical parents and trying to keep the scene from becoming even more chaos and more bodies piling up, but you need to be :censored2:ing doing something INSIDE while controlling the scene outside.
I agree. But when you have young kids inside you can’t go in guns blazing. It was a difficult situation. I would have tried sneaking in, keep the :censored2: occupied while you creep in, something, anything

Here is a flash back that is getting harder to find. Everyone I have pointed this out to can’t believe it. This is a father from the Sandy Hook shooting. Remember this guys 6 yr old daughter was killed the day before this interview. Looks refreshed like he got a good nights sleep. Watch before he starts the interview he is smiling and laughing then he pauses and does what they teach you to do in acting school, take a moment to get into character. His eyes are perfectly white and no bags under his eyes. Never sheads a tear. I don’t know what happened at that school but I don’t buy this guy lost a daughter. Question everything.
You only have to watch about a minute of the 18 min interview to see what I’m talking about.

No not guns blazing but your job is to present a hostile target for the shooter. That is your duty, that’s your responsibility to the community, that’s why society should teach children to respect you and what you do for it.

This was a :censored2:ing disgrace through and through.

Pretty much

These frequent killings or groups of innocent people simply aren't possible elsewhere. If these random mass shootings were legitimate, which they aren't, there would be just as many targeted attacks against high profile people. Why aren't there crazy nut jobs attacking rich people or businessmen? Honestly some of those attacks would be well deserved but my point is Republicans and Democrats alike are orchestrating these shootings and staging these kinds of events to convince the populace they aren't safe anywhere. They are pushing the opinion that police state expansion and support of military invasions is needed to keep us safe. Because of this what we're seeing now is to be expected. This shouldn't be a surprise. Wake up or stay plugged in

Well since dropping out of high school, the kid had plenty of free time at his job with Wendy's to put in the hours to make the funds to legally purchase his guns & ammo.
The truck he damaged wasn't his, it belonged to his grandmother, you know the first person he shot.
Given that he totally wreck it in less than 1000 feet, one could surmise that he lacked any driving skills.
And since he dropped the bag containing most of his ammo outside of the school , one could also surmise that his plan was not well thought out.

No matter what when they heard the gun being shot and kids screaming they should've gone in. If up to that point it was a hostage situation then be cautious but all bets are off once the shooting started.

The timelines were very confusing. It sounds like they thought the shooter was barricaded and not a hostage situation at first. Hindsight makes them look like cowards for waiting (possibly true but debatable). The shooter was hiding in a closet and popped out to shoot at the cops when they went in so looks like caution was advised. The big question seems to be how many were killed during the delay and that isn't clear.

They waited for specialists to arrive and go in. How long was that? About an hour? Don't they have bulletproof shields they could've put out in front of them?

This whole school shooting was planned. A teacher inside opened the door for the kid. There needs to be a Foia request , before the hard drives get erased...

I spoke to a few cops about this. They all said, in a situation such as this, police are supposed to engage the shooter asap PERIOD. NO WAITING for "specialists" or directions from superiors. The cops were supposed to gain access and kill the shooter as quickly as possible. If there happens to be collateral damage then that's a real shame and hopefully this is avoided. IMO the cops were afraid they would get shot and they should be fired.

Also he had some salon quality hair going on with the side shot I saw of him.

I'd do him😬

The shooter killed a bunch of kids, the cops did nothing to stop him for at least 45 minutes, and instead spent the time violently harassing the desperate parents and concocting their hilarious cover story.

So far it certainly does sound like some of them did that.
