The 2024 Presidential Race Thread

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.
Why will some union people (and others) vote against being replaced by robotics at their job but then vote to be replaced by illegals in their country?
An argument can be made that every blue state votes consistently against their own interests. Higher taxes, higher crime especially in the cities. Higher homelessness, particularly CA. Sanctuary cities, the list goes on. Definitely a pattern.

The Shelter and Services Program (SSP) is a completely separate, appropriated grant program that was authorized and funded by Congress and is not associated in any way with FEMA's disaster related authority or funding.
Take it up with Secretary Mayorkas. He said that FEMA is broke due to them taking FEMA funds to deal with the immigrants. Where did you think all the money was going to come from to support over 10 million people for years?

Asheville, NC is a fairly liberal city. You might want to be concerned about the Biden administration having spent so much on illegals in the last 3.5 years that FEMA is essentially broke.

Fake news

Sure lot of republicans on here mad about fema funding but not mentioning the 175 republicans who voted against fema funding

Fake news

So if there was no migrant problem where would that extra billion go? It’s like me telling my wife the reason we can’t pay rent isn’t because I blew money on prostitutes and blow because that money was never designated for rent anyway. What the hell else if FEMA going to say?

FEMA, Whose Mission is to Support Citizens, Caught in a Lie: Claims ‘No Money is Being Diverted from Disaster Response’ While Funding Illegal Immigrant Resettlement.

According to the Department of Energy and Environment’s website, FEMA’s “mission is to support the citizens and first responders to promote that as a nation we work together to build, sustain, and improve our capability to prepare for, protect against, respond to, recover from, and mitigate all hazards.”

However, recent actions by the agency showed that they are not truly fulfilling this mandate. Instead of focusing on the immediate needs of American citizens affected by natural disasters, FEMA is allocating substantial resources to assist illegal immigrants.

“This is false. No money is being diverted from disaster response needs. FEMA’s disaster response efforts and individual assistance is funded through the Disaster Relief Fund, which is a dedicated fund for disaster efforts. Disaster Relief Fund money has not been diverted to other, non-disaster related efforts.”

If you’re mad about there not being enough fema funds, you should direct your anger at the almost 200 republicans who voted against extra funding for fema

So if FEMA was sitting on the billion dollars that they have spent on migrants you are saying they would just sit on it and say the money isn’t for helping the disaster? Thanks for that clarification. The more I’m learning about FEMA the more I am for defunding them. I now stand with the 200 Republicans.

Here is what people on the ground are saying about FEMA.

Just got off the phone a Pastor in the midst of the flooding in TN/NC. He is in one of the most devastated locations. He verified a few things about the situation:
- Almost all help is being done by private citizens, mainly churches.
- Private helicopters are flying in the vast majority of the supplies.
- Local Sheriffs are telling people to feel free to defend their property from looters by whatever means they have. - WROL (Without Rule of Law) is happening in some areas, which means looting, robbing, and etc.
- FEMA's involvement has seriously complicated the rescue efforts.
- Local Sheriffs have threatened to arrest FEMA workers if they hinder rescue and aid work.

- The response to this tragedy has been massive and overwhelming. All from private individuals and local Churches.

Yeah Yeah we know all the people on the ground living this is just spouting propaganda. We get it.
Next … You still haven’t answered what would FEMA do with the billion dollars if they hadn’t spent it on migrants?

A mind is a terrible thing to waste.

He can‘t answer the question “what would FEMA do with an extra billion dollars if it hadn’t spend it on migrants?” It’s like if there was no migrant problem there would be a billion dollars just sitting there and no way to spend it. This is as hard as getting a Democrat to define what a woman is.. They will answer everything but the question. They can’t or it will expose their lie.
Good news is anyone outside the cult is seeing what is going on. Those outside the cult can also tell you what a woman is. Amazing!
