Baitcast?

Yessir. Low geared Shimano Corado on a heavy 7’ 2” rod with fast tip.

I got more in bluegill than I know what to do with. Bet I’ve thrown out almost 1000 the last 2 years.

I had to do that at moms. My buddies and I stocked his pond and then threw a ton out on the bank. It really helps the whole population. I really need to do it again and catch some crappie.

Caught a couple small bluegill but not much biting

Sight fishing during the spawn a lizard is lights out too. They get when they see a lizard in their bed. Especially after they drop their eggs

Things are about to bust out here in Texas. Pre spawn bass are moving and crappie are right behind them. Do you have Googan baits available where you are? Bandito bug, krackin' craw or a trench hog behind a weedless jig is killer here over nesters. Also a crankbait in a sunfish color really makes mama bass mad around the nest.

My cousin and I Caught 2 limits of bluegill and Redear Saturday. Only a handful were worth talking about. Redear bit really good. One full of eggs.

My buddy was down in Chickamauga (spelling???) the last few days. 21.5 one day and 20 the next. Not sure how they did today but they were blistering their ass. I got the itch to tournament fish again lol
