Went and ran jugs today. Water is way high. Had to put in at a big ramp which I usually never go to because it’s always busy. Took a little ride down the river. Caught 9 catfish and the first fish in the new boat was a gar that bit me on the arm lol. No cats of any size. Couldn’t get the land lines out just because I couldn’t find a place that the bank was clean enough to set em. I think I’m full on fishing mode now.

Also it pisses me off to pay taxes that go to these parks and stuff and you still have to pay daily or yearly for a “pass” to launch your boat

It’s funded by tax dollars that I pay yearly with personal property tax on my vehicles and my boat. Why should I have to pay $8 a day to launch the boat, that I’ve already paid yearly personal property tax on, there when a lot of my yearly tax dollars that go to the county, fund things like that?
