Hey! How’s Bart and Lisa?
I bet Sean loses sleep knowing he failed you. we have one of those automated buildings for the record, calm down. It’s not that big a deal unless you’re in a very small center they’re going to close which has been a plan for a very long time, well before Sean.
All these so-called automated jobs aren’t really automated only dumbed down. Instead of making $15 an hour doing something that might’ve taken a little skill, people stand around and do next to nothing making $23 an hour starting out. 🤷‍♂️

He should. He didn’t just fail me, he failed the whole union. Your right, nothing like working your whole career to have 20 guys ahead of you retire and they shut a smaller building down and 20 guys come to your building following the work and they jump right ahead of you in seniority. Which may have all been in the works before Sean, doesn’t matter. The very least he could’ve done, especially since we all knew this was going to happen, would be to get us as much money as possible to make it at the very least a pill we were capable of swallowing. Instead he sided with the company, or is just too stupid to realize that what he was able to secure was absolute peanuts compared to what we could have had.

OK what’s your plan for the company closing buildings They say are no longer profitable.? You do realize we have the right to follow work in our contract? You’re doing a lot of complaining but there’s really nothing that could’ve stopped any of that if that’s the companies plan.
We had one building close that was about 45 miles away from us. Every single one of those employees moved to a bigger hub and make more money now because they get more hours. Thankfully the contract still included language for them to follow their work, and the membership overwhelmingly ratified the contract
Is it a good contract? Yes so far. is it a great contract? that’s to be determined later. I don’t think there’s any such thing as the perfect contract unfortunately.

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.

You never let perfect become the enemy of the good.

And as far as the money goes, I think you and I have been over this before. I don’t fault you for wanting more money. The membership voted for this contract because they felt the money was right..

It really can’t be overlooked and if there’s so much more money out there somewhere and you’re still here? Why why don’t you go to those other places that pay so much more? Why work for peanuts? And when you find that place that pays these extremely higher wages and benefits please PM me

Can’t really do much about the company closing buildings. But you know what would have made it a little more palatable for the employees getting kicked down the seniority ladder? More money! Why is it good? We didn’t even get enough to cover inflation, lol

I wouldn’t have minded more money, but I don’t think the membership was willing to vote no and strike. It’s a collective bargaining agreement.

The membership voted yes because instead of thinking for themselves they followed people who they thought should no better. Seriously, I want the economics that proves this huge financial windfall we supposedly got with this last contract. Because I seriously don’t see that I have anymore buying power than I did 5 years ago. In fact I have less.

Because they heard homers like you telling them what a good deal they were getting. Too many people that are just willing to go along to get along, not enough with a set of balls to stand up and tell them to :censored2: off! SOB made it sound like that in his tweets, only to puss out.

Wow well I appreciate that. You put me at such a high-level lol. Apparently you have nowhere near the clout I do 😂

And I’m still waiting for that place to pay so much more and why you’re still working for peanuts? doesn’t seem like you have much going on outside of UPS, but have a lot of complaints.

The truth is your compensated more than fairly because of the good contract that you work under, and if you work somewhere else, you would be making peanuts, because the market says that’s what you’re worth. It’s a hard pill to swallow but you better get your head out of your ass on this issue.

More than fairly? You sound exactly like my boss. What is your position in the company again? Market says that’s what I’m worth? Huh, then why have a union if the market dictates what I’m worth again?🤔

I never signed warning letters
Years ago they tired on me. I went home early and another used my scanner and ID. They tried to blame the misload on me . Yelling saying it’s your ID at these boxes told them I went home early. They kept yelling and said here sign. I wrote under duress verbal intimidation and threats of violence wrote I went home early. i asked for copy of letter. Security showed three days later and said its warning will be removed and destroyed

Let them yell. They would show me the letter and then write RTS on it because they knew I’d never sign it. Never sign anything and always deny everything.
