So you're saying when Russia invaded in 2014 and armed ethnic Russian separatists who drove ethnic Ukrainians out of their homes that Ukraine should've just let it happen. Whatever the Russians want is fine but Ukrainians have no right to defend their country. Got it.

Russia has nukes and a dictator. NATO has very good reasons to exist. And no one in NATO that I'm aware of was wanting to admit Ukraine. To join the EU and NATO Ukraine has to meet certain criteria which I've read they were nowhere near. And nothing they did excuses slaughtering civilians or do you think that's ok too?

Ukraine has been a sovereign nation for about 30 years. They are a country, not part of a country. They have a right to protect and enforce their sovereignty. By the way, they declared their independence from the Soviet Union as did every other Soviet republic when it fell apart. The Soviet Union no longer exists as you know. Or is it that the Soviet Union was a sham from the start, just Russia dominating other peoples? Which you seem to be fine with.
