I don’t give a what he wants. He lost the case against him. He FAFO. He has every right to appeal but no right not to pay 120% of the judgement in the meantime. You think he wants to give his liquid assets to NY?

There is always an excuse from you on his reprehensible behavior. You in particular should take note that he recently referred to Social Security and Medicare as “ entitlements “OK, why wasn't he tried in criminal court for fraud? I'll tell you why. The burden of proof is a much higher standard in criminal trials than in civil. But if he's as guilty as you say should've been a slam dunk. Trump didn't do anything different than any other developer. And those developers aren't doing anything illegal either. But they have him over a barrel because he's got his wealth tied up in his real estate. Can't go forward on appeal without putting up the money first under NY law. I hope all the business NY will probably lose is worth it to them.
You have a misunderstanding on how civil judgements work. He's under no obligation to cooperate. They can seize his assets but he in no way has to make it easy for them.I don’t give a what he wants. He lost the case against him. He FAFO. He has every right to appeal but no right not to pay 120% of the judgement in the meantime.
You do understand that an entitlement is something they're obligated to pay? There is always an excuse from you on his reprehensible behavior. You in particular should take note that he recently referred to Social Security and Medicare as “ entitlements “
And that there is lots of room
In both programs for cutting.
Please don’t try and translate that, or tell
Me he meant something else lol
You do understand he wants to cut them? You do understand that an entitlement is something they're obligated to pay?
I am not a lawyer with expertise in NY law but I don’t think his civil suit precludes the possibility of a subsequent criminal trial.OK, why wasn't he tried in criminal court for fraud?
The SOB has to pay up first to make the appeal. If he can get it to an appeals court that'll be considered.
They sure as hell can. They can seize his assets
You do understand that Democrats bring that up every election cycle and it never happens? You do understand he wants to cut them?
And that's where NY has him. And where they screwed themselves because they already are seeing businessmen leaving the state and this decision will encourage more to leave. The SOB has to pay up first to make the appeal.
Then why don't they?I am not a lawyer with expertise in NY law but I don’t think his civil suit precludes the possibility of a subsequent criminal trial.
Ask them. They seem to know what they’re doing. They’ve so far put him in a $500 million corner. Then why don't they?
He has $400 million in cash according to his deposition. Did he lie about that or something? And that's where NY has him. And where they screwed themselves because they already are seeing businessmen leaving the state and this decision will encourage more to leave.
He's under no obligation to just hand it over.He has $400 million in cash according to his deposition. Did he lie about that or something?
Just pointing out that you're jumping the gun being all gleeful about screwing Trump.DESPERATELY DEFEND THE CONMAN
Well, he has to pay to appeal. So if he wants to appeal… he has to fork over M O N E YHe's under no obligation to just hand it over.
I’m gleeful that he’s clearly under financial stress. It’s only fair that we all discover finally that he was full of when he claimed he’s worth $10 billion. He’s a dirty liar.Just pointing out that you're jumping the gun being all gleeful about screwing Trump.
I thought you had to be Woke to go Broke? The SOB has to pay up first to make the appeal.
He most certainly is under obligation to hand it over if he wants to secure an appeal. He's under no obligation to just hand it over.
