Man I just don’t understand how you think it’s a choice. Why would anybody choose to be gay? Could you physically have sex with a man if you chose to?

Do you have any idea how insane that sounds? "Wax my balls or be sued!"
Never realized suing over wedding cakes for two guys could sound normal until now.

Like the right for a man to have his balls waxed by a women’s beauty salon due to civil rights protections against gender identity discrimination. Or the right for a man to beat up on biological women in women’s sports. You know, the stuff we’ve been talking about here today.
step away for half a day and the world is suddenly talking about waxing balls.

Like?

“There is no federal law that bans discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity in public accommodations” this is from the ACLU

So this doesn’t just apply to gays or transgendered or lesbians
That applies to both, just like the civil rights that do protect from discrimination based on sexuality apply to both.

El Correcto

god is dead
it should never apply to protect a mental illness.
I agree, having a right to not be discriminated against for being delusional about reality and believing a dead Jew from thousands of years ago is a deity is kind of ridiculous.
Believing in old Jewish creationist myths over facts is also pretty ridiculous.

But we live in a civil society, you have a freedom to religious views and the civil rights protects you from discrimination.

Just @UnionStrong
Why would anybody choose to be gay?
It's called free will. Choice. You choose right and wrong every day.
If there is no free will, there is no individual accountability or responsibility. There is an expected standard of right and wrong. If there is no standard, there would be no violation of it.
You can reject the existence of free will and a standard. You can choose not to accept and believe either one, but that doesn't change the fact that they both exist.
