It is what it is. Perhaps the peace will work. Perhaps it won’t. Perhaps Putin will. piss off the wrong people next time and there will be a ground war with more countries involved I don’t know, but this war is over. At the very least are our involvement in it is over.
Oh come on. If Trump was 100% behind the Ukrainian effort you'd slam him for that too. It's about Trump with you guys and always has been. You won't acknowledge that he kept us out of new wars during his first term and that Putin didn't attack Ukraine while Trump was president. Hasn't been back 6 weeks yet and everything is his fault. Come on man, as old Joe used to say.
It’s interesting that it’s always lost on these people that this war never even happened when Trump was in office. I’m sure it’s just a coincidence. It happened directly after he was gone. Honestly, I think the Democrats were more pissed at Hillary loss because they wanted this war sooner.
If we put NATO troops in and are overrunning the Russians you think Putin will hesitate because Trump's his buddy? Do you not hear yourself?
It’s not over. What this White House is doing is strengthening Russia’s hand. If they don’t engage in cyber warfare on Europe within in the next three years I’ll be surprised.
And if they continue this war moving forward may well become Russia again
Not true for me, I was optimistic and giving Trump credit for a little bit this second term for how he was handling it. But now he’s starting to do what I thought he would
The war isn’t in Russia’s favor but anything we do to strengthen their position is foolish. They screwed up and should pay. What we are now doing is setting them up to rearm and refresh their forces. Why not keep them on the ropes? Help Ukraine apply more pressure? Make them waste their resources.
He's trying to end the war. He's deporting criminal aliens and has secured the border. He's trying to get better trade deals for the U.S. Where's he going wrong?

Russia has limited industrial capacity and has been severely degraded both economically and militarily. If you don't let Putin save face with a negotiated peace it may blow up in our faces.

Trump definitely believes our allies exploit us for their own gain. Put trade in their favor while letting us bear the brunt of defense. Considering the $36 trillion hole we've dug ourselves things have got to change. He's not going to be popular for it.

Ok. Then make him approach us with his requests for a negotiated peace. What are we doing bailing him out? Make him squirm. This is pure weakness on display from the White House.
