i dont take these things seriously. its trump. at least he warned everyone about ww3. did biden do that?
Yes, President Joe Biden has cautioned about the potential for a third world war in the context of direct conflict between NATO and Russia. In March 2022, he stated, "We will not fight a war against Russia in Ukraine. Direct confrontation between NATO and Russia is World War Three, something we must strive to prevent."
The Telegraph

He emphasized the importance of avoiding escalation while supporting Ukraine's defense against Russian aggression.

In February 2023, former President Donald Trump claimed that Biden's decision to send American tanks to Ukraine contradicted Biden's earlier warnings about actions that could lead to World War III. However, this assertion was found to be misleading, as it omitted key context from Biden's original statements.

CNN

Throughout the ongoing conflict, President Biden has maintained that while the U.S. will provide support to Ukraine, it seeks to avoid direct military engagement with Russia to prevent a broader war. He has also warned that direct confrontation between NATO and Russia would amount to World War III, underscoring the administration's efforts to balance support for Ukraine with the imperative to avoid escalating the conflict into a global war.

There’s a realist case for supporting Ukraine. But the honest, realist case comes with doubling US defense spending and rebuilding to some degree the Cold War military. But everybody knows that we really don’t need that, because everyone deep down knows 2025 Russia≠USSR.

they wanted the war to drag out.

if they wanted to stop it in the first place, they should not have tried to expand nato.
There’s some truth to this probably if the “dragging out” part meant more damage to a malign actor called the Russian Federation. They are not our friends and if they attack one of our European friends and think they can do it without deep consequences then they were proven wrong.

Russia was the bad guy. You’ll never convince me that the victim in this story is to blame. Ukraine gave up its nukes in 1994 and we promised to protect their territorial integrity. We failed to over and over.
