Such programs are crippling the EU. The US is $20 trillion in debt and people like you suggest speeding it up exponentially. We need to CUT benefits, not add countless trillions more in spending. Before you suggest that it's businesses that will pay for this, that would mean devastating unemployment. European unemployment is more than double ours for a reason.
no they are creating jobs because adults are able to spend more money into the economy with more vacation time + money.
and they have healthcare which costs half as much as yours which is a huge economic rent.
and this doesnt account for the huge lifestyle benefit the EU model provides.
Eu unemployment is double yours because they actually count the people who are unemployed! jk i have no idea, last i looked a few years ago, many EU countries had lower unemployment than america. to be fair, usa is at its lowest cyclical unemployment and you are due for a recession.
if you care so much about the debt, stop giving money to banks and fix it, and stop spending 1.5 trillion on war which is also increasing the threat of revenge terrorism. this is huge military socialism!
