It is possible though that a few (1) may have joined Wagner and stated they were formerly Legion, but I cannot imagine that.

I have heard former, Russian speaking, FFL end up with Wagner. Their familiarity with NATO weapons and tactics makes them valuable in Africa, because they know French, and in Ukraine, because of tactics. NATO training comes in handy.
