Its all down hill from here for the board, our Board has shown us nothing as of yet, they campaigned on a bunch of lies. They promised to protect our benefits,They did , it was going to abitration and we were going to lose 25 and out and medical for retirees but our board stopped it. they promised to fight production harrasment,They have , members are a lot more awear on how to protect themselves and keep better records.they promised surprise building raids,They have , done raids in every building and have giving members better tools to write and fight grievances. they promised to protect our jobs,They have , by taken on UPS for laying off the clerks and fighting to get back our 22.3 jobs that our old board gave up on. they promised to take on supervisors working,members are getting paid all over our local for sups working they promised tough contract enforcement.They have , by not making deals with UPS , like our old board did What has the Board done for us. Our board has bought back the respect to LOCAL 804 , Our board stands side by side with our members and backs them 100% , Our board relats to our members and understands what a parttimer has to deal with , parttimers now have a BA to speak to , Parttimers now have respect in our local again for years our old board have pushed parttimers away and laughed at them , they did not fight for better salaries , benefits or language for them but OUR BOARD WILL.No member will trust and believe them again, Our members now have a board that will tell them the truth good or bad , our old board waited to get elected then told us about our pension , our old board gave themselves huge raises making $167,000 , while we were getting split raises.no member wants them to see what they will do on our next contract Every member wants our board to fight UPS for a better contract , Our members know that our board will not back Hoffa and his weak contracts , will not lie to the members in every building and say its a FAIR contract , TONY D , ANGELO and JOHN N LIED TO MEMBERS ABOUT OUR CONTRACT TOLD US WE HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO LOSE 25 AND OUT AND COFFEE AND GIVE UPS BACK MONEY,,,,, BUT OUR BOARD ASK THE MEMBERSHIP TO VOTE NO , WE DID AND GOT BACK WHAT TONY D and ANGELO SAID WE WOULD LOSE. THEY WERE WRONG , THEY LIED. THANKS TO OUR BOARD MEMBERS SAVES MILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN COFFEE MONEY ALONG WITH THE MONEY THEY WANTED TO GIVE BACK TO UPS........
Now let me remind you, that our E Board has disrepected the membership, who are they to judge members and classify members and put them in different categories.TO BE IN A UNION IS TO STAND TOGETHER MEMBERS THAT STILL TOOK UPS MONEY TO DO SAFETY WHILE THE UNION STOPPED THEM ARE SCABS AND RATS,NOTHING MORE , ITS UNION BUSTING I SAY ,UNION BUSTING We have a leadership who does not treat all members equal. OUR MEMBERS KNOW THE TRUTH AND ARE PROUD OF OUR LOCAL THANKS TO OUR BOARD BECAUSE THEY ARE JUST LIKE US PEOPLE THAT REMEMBER WHAT ITS LIKE TO WORK HARD AND WANT RESPECT , THAT WANT A BETTER SAFER WAY OF LIFE FOR ALL MEMBERS. FOR TO LONG OUR OLD BOARD LAUGHED AT ITS MEMBERS THOUGHT THEY WERE STUPID AND DID NOT CARE ,, WELL THEY DO AND THATS WHY THEY VOTED THEM OUT...........AND WILL NOT LET THEM BACK IN......
