The people running Yellow are bottom of the barrel garbage management people, I feel bad for the members there. They’ve been getting screwed for a very long time all while being told just give us a little bit longer…..

Sadly, that is correct in my opinion, the union has no choice, but to put their foot down and the people working there have been screwed long enough. The union tried to help that company get back on its feet, and all they’ve been stabbed the back along the way.

It would really suck,
But like I say about working here if we’re not going to be paid appropriately or have a pension what’s the point? Yellow has invested very little in there equipment, buildings, and especially their employees.

We were just a couple of votes away from organizing XPO in our location. I’m certain next time we will get the votes.

And threatening if pushed to give a good contract, they will just close the doors. They would love to lay this at the feet of the teamsters, ignoring the fact we’ve given back for decades.

Many came over to ups…lots of grumbling with them on starting out at bottom rate but they have great healthcare and pension..can’t start out at the top.

There’s a few locations that have voted to be union, but no contract yet that I know of.
