They don't have a choice
Their employer has paid almost nothing for a long time until our pension plan
But they did have a choice they just didn’t want to stick it out through our :censored2:ty progression. All they had to do was look at our contribution rate and make the sacrifice. A lot of these drivers say they double their pension in about two years working at UPS.

Because your company has paid nothing but interest payments for many years

There ya don’t have it. We will see when the tentative agreement gets to us.

You’re wrong on 2 and right on 2. If it is not that way, I will apologize. But I do believe I am right and you are wrong.
LOL. I like the quadruple time idea.
Don’t let that tuff guy schtick fool you.
This is not 1930 or a B&W movie.

That tough guy doesn’t fool me. I didn’t like the idea of his press conference yesterday spouting about this is about the future of all labor, not just UPS. How this will set the tone for future labor.

Bull:censored2:, this is about our contract with UPS, not a fricking re-election campaign.

We shall see.

Yes you’re right…do you know if it’s going to be a non working holiday?
It will be if you want it, not sure how much benefit there is to UPS to have all these working holidays paying big money

It will be an air only holiday, with special arraignments for some bigger accounts, just like New Years Eve.

Had a high seniority guy just above me (I have over 36 in) retire no more than a month ago....left me scratching my head.

Even if you are setup and comfortable monetarily and what not, why the hell would you do that and do them a favor?
I mean Christ you could have called in a few times a week for a month or so and not have gotten let go and legged it out.

Oh well......
Maybe he missed out

(IT Crowd - "Reynholm Suicide")...

Must be my British sense of humor...surprised that no one got it.

"It is all about the pensions" .. the rest of the stuff is now child's play...

22.4 done and over, extra holidays done and over...GWI's is a given, Health and Welfare is a given...

I think it's interesting that they have repeatedly told us the total target compensation is not changing. However my total target compensation that was reviewed with me in April when I received my merit increase has now changed. The total target compensation did change even though they said it wouldn't.

That's why we want to keep UPS around and healthy.

We know who you really are....Please tell us more....:bag:

Define: "we"... to one of "them"....?
