That tough guy doesn’t fool me. I didn’t like the idea of his press conference yesterday spouting about this is about the future of all labor, not just UPS. How this will set the tone for future labor.

Bull:censored2:, this is about our contract with UPS, not a fricking re-election campaign.

We shall see.

I don’t see that press conference as a re-election campaign, I see it as a call out to Amazon and even FedEx employees (assuming once they combine their operations and can’t be covered under the rail act). Hey, see what we are getting for our employees at UPS. Join us and we can do the same for you for doing the same job as they do. Just how I see it.

And if they want to cut costs, management is very bloated imo. Between the cradles, telematics and outward facing cameras they have pretty much eliminated the need for on cars. Or at least as many as there are. We all felt like this technology was to replace us, a back up plan is to replace management
Nice that’s a good route. Mines around 225. When I was covering I did one that was 470 miles. I took a picture of the diad lol.
470 miles?

That's a speech you make after securing an agreement. This was supposed to inform us of where we are at in the current negotiations.
