Day 1, employees start out with dignity and respect for this company. Then something changes in them. Why?The reverse is also true.
But I just love sparkly and shiny objects ... please! It's been changed at least three times by an ocd MOD with too much idle time. Don't you have some silverware to organize?

UPS gunman who killed 3 had filed overtime grievancesJust started my 29th year and I still try my best to treat my management team with the respect and dignity that they deserve. This may be the military in me or perhaps it was the way that I was raised.
On a side note, our local news is reporting this as a possible terror attack. Idiots.
This is the name of the thread:
UPS Shooting- San Francisco (Rant & News thread)
I was just acting like everybody else.Doesn't give you carte blanche to act like an idiot.
Taking a life is never an appropriate solution unless life was taken. Just posting the difference in reporting since your local news claims terrorism. So you are justifying his solution?
Why would you engage in it then?FWIW, I have lost any and all respect that I may have had for you prior to this thread.
Your right!!! I just joined this sight tonight. Can't sleep. My husband is feeder driver. He was shot at on I70 in st Louis last year. He was not hit but blew out his Windows. He's not been released by his doctors. Suffers from PTSD. UPS made him go to work last week. I was terrified. They had him come in for 4 hrs last Friday. They haven't ask him back. They said they would give him 24 notice when they want him to come back in. They've not called him back, but he's a mess. More than 32yrs Service, 28 yrs safe driving and they took away our insurance and won't pay him earned vacation pay. Oh yes he filed a grievance but what a joke.
YAWN . .FWIW, I have lost any and all respect that I may have had for you prior to this thread.

I read this entire thread and something to the effect of "I'm not surprised" or "I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often" came up 26 times.
This company seriously has to examine the culture that led to this tragedy.
