I had my thumb area get pinched in a belt one time, it luckily came out quick but if it caught any harder it could have got bad.

How did this happen?

It was at a pretty outdated center. We had those hand cranking extendos. Ours had a pretty big gap between the plexiglass and the moving part of the belt...we could reverse the belt too so when reversed it was moving in a pinching motion..

Well how should I go about handling the situation then because the sups kinda have it out for me?

Stop walking on the belt while it's moving. Turn in OFF and secure, notify that you will be walking it. I'm sure your supervisor has it out for you if you are being unsafe.
